I have rebuilt the official SEIB-DGVM website using WordPress.
The content itself hasn’t changed much, but the previous version used frames, which felt outdated. I had been wanting to improve it for some time, and I’m glad I finally got around to it.
I would gradually migrate the Japanese pages. I had considered consolidating everything into English, but since I may use this site for educational purposes in the future, I’ve decided to keep the Japanese version for now.
Additionally, I am making progress on adding new features and fixing bugs in SEIB-Explorer. I plan to release a new version soon, which will include the herbaceous layer visualization feature. I will also address issues like the overly thick tree trunks in the Simplistic View.
The new website looks good. Hope there will a discussion section on the website, where we can leave comments or questions, that can be answered by experts working with SEIB-DGVM.
Hi, Thanks for your comment!
The idea of adding a Discussion section is great!
I think I can handle it with a WordPress plugin, so I’ll look into it.
